Andrea recently joined Team IMPACT as the Associate Director of Development Communications. She will be working to advance the efforts of the development team through enhanced collateral, strategic campaigns, and impactful events.
Prior to Team IMPACT, she worked as an Event Manager at The Castle Group, planning conferences, fundraisers, and events throughout the world. With more than 8 years of experience in marketing and event planning throughout the non-profit and for-profit sectors, Andrea brings a range of experiences along with heart and passion to the mission. Social impact has always been at the forefront of her work – from founding the CSR committee at her previous company to her time working at Cradles to Crayons, running Boston-based marketing and event planning efforts to provide children in low-income and homeless situations with the essentials they need to succeed.
As a native New Yorker, the inner NY/Boston sports rivalry is a constant struggle. She is slowly working on her Boston loyalty. When not at the office, you can find her in the kitchen baking everything from cookies to bagels to leave on the doorsteps of friends and neighbors with her trusty rescue pup sidekick, Rory.
When asked the question, “Why Team IMPACT?” Andrea said:
I have always believed that our purpose on earth is to make life easier for others. Team IMPACT is a true embodiment of this principle. These partnerships foster such a unique combination of teamwork, empathy, community, and resiliency – it is impossible not to be affected by the real changes made in young lives. I hope to be a part of a larger ripple effect, where those who are involved in this program continue to spread empowerment and light to others.
