Katie DePaolo joined Team IMPACT in March of 2017 and serves as the Relationship Manager for the New England region. In this role, she manages the relationships between the families and teams in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York and helps facilitate engagement and communication from Draft Day all the way through to Graduation from Team IMPACT.
Originally from Pen Argyl, PA, DePaolo comes to Team IMPACT from Indianapolis, IN, where she interned at the Great Lakes Valley Conference. She received her undergraduate degree in Film and Television Studies with a minor in Journalism, Ethics, and Democracy from the University of Notre Dame in 2016. While at Notre Dame, she worked in print and digital media for many different departments on campus including the Athletic Department, Admissions Office, and Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture. In her spare time, you can find her listening to music and podcasts, going to concerts, binge-watching Netflix, or wandering Boston in search of the city’s best breweries and mac and cheese.
When asked the question, “Why team IMPACT?” Katie said:
Growing up, sports were a huge part of the dynamic in both my family and my hometown, and I have found some of my best friends and made some of my best memories playing sports. I wanted to be able to help give that same experience to kids who could really use the support and outlet that being part of a team can give. (I also like Boston for a very particular bowl of mac and cheese.)
