Kelcey McGeown-Conron joined Team IMPACT in June of 2019 and serves as a Match-Up Specialist for the South and Southeast Regions. In this role, she directly works with our Team IMPACT families and athletic teams to facilitate relationships.
Prior to Team IMPACT, Kelcey worked as the Director of Operations for the Florida State University Swim and Dive Team. While working towards her graduate degree at the University of San Francisco, Kelcey worked as the Operations Assistant for the University of California Baseball and Men’s Swim and Dive Teams. In these rolls, Kelcey arranged all team travel, managed the budget and served as the team liaison to the athletic department. Before working in collegiate athletics, she spent time with NBCSports, the Oakland Raiders and the Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Health and Human Services. In her free time, Kelcey enjoys sailing, watching sports, hanging out with family and friends, and has become quite the food-tour connoisseur.
When asked the question, “Why Team IMPACT?” Kelcey said:
I first learned of Team IMPACT when I was in college at Wake Forest University when the baseball team drafted a young man to their team. I was hooked right then and there! I was enthralled by the mission and believe in the power of sport and its ability to promote community engagement. I was fortunate enough to work with Team IMPACT during my time at Cal and FSU and am excited to continue to work with student-athletes to foster a commitment of giving back.
