Ms. Lloyd is Vice President, Hospital Operations of the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone. Serving in this inaugural role since 2012, she is the senior leader responsible for ensuring the strategy and operations for the seamless integration of programs and services for children and their families across the health system. In collaboration with the Children’s Hospital leadership team, she oversees the key priority areas of patient safety and quality, child and family experience, program growth and financial sustainability. Along with the Chair, Department of Pediatrics, she provides senior leadership to the Sala Institute for Child and Family-Centered Care. Sala is the first of its kind in mission and structure integrating resilience services, patient safety and child and family engagement on a platform of innovation that is designed to serve children and families and, at the same time, conceptualize and inspire new standards and models for family-centered care.

Prior to NYU Langone, Ms. Lloyd worked in several capacities as a senior leader at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Most recently as Senior Vice President for Operations, she provided executive leadership for a diverse portfolio of patient care services and administrative operations during a period of unprecedented organizational transformation and growth. Her role included leading the strategy and successful implementation of a state-of-the-art electronic health record system and developing and facilitating the expansion of numerous clinical programs and patient support programs. She was instrumental in creating a nationally-recognized Patient/Family-Centered Care Model, which served as an example of an innovative approach during a time when this work was not well defined or embedded in academic medical centers. She was an invited author and reviewer of the 2011 Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School curriculum on Patient and Family-Centered Care, and representing the lead sponsor, chaired the 2009 International Conference Planning Committee with the highly regarded Institute for Patient and Family-Centered Care, a pioneer in the field of patient and family centered care.

She has served on numerous boards and advisory committees including the Children’s Hospital Association Board Education Committee, the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House Board of Directors, and the Union League of Philadelphia Youth Work Foundation.
