Blue Devils Announce 2024 Promotions Schedule

DURHAM – Duke softball has announced its fan promotions schedule for the upcoming 2024 season, beginning with the home opener on Feb. 14 against North Dakota State.
 
Bark in the Park
Bring your dog to the ballpark with you for every midweek game this season. Admission is free to all Bark in the Park games.
  • Feb. 14 vs. North Dakota State
  • March 20 vs. UNC Wilmington (DH)
  • April 3 vs. Charlotte
  • April 10 vs. Campbell
  • April 24 vs. Longwood & NC Central
 
Postgame Autographs
Duke Softball will host postgame autographs in the outfield after several games and fans are encouraged to bring an item to be signed by the team. Postgame autographs will take place:
  • March 1 vs. Syracuse
  • March 8 vs. South Dakota State (DH)
  • March 28 vs. Virginia Tech
  • April 5 vs. North Carolina
  • April 19 vs. Virginia
 
Sunday Runday
Kids in attendance will have the opportunity to run the bases after several Duke Softball games on Sundays. Sunday Runday will take place:
  • March 3 vs. Syracuse
  • April 7 vs. North Carolina
  • April 21 vs. Virginia

Duke Softball student-athletes are more than just athletes on the field. Join us as the team plays for a cause beyond themselves.

First Responder & Health Care Appreciation
Join us as we recognize first responders and health care workers on Wednesday, March 20th as the Blue Devils take on UNC Wilmington for a double header at 3 and 5 pm. We will also be recognizing active and former military members in attendance. Fans will be invited to pick up Duke Softball sunglasses straps, while supplies last.

 Mental Health Awareness
Mental Health Awareness is important on and off the field. Join us as we raise awareness and recognize the work of organizations helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Pride Game
Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride with Duke Softball with giveaways and a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

Strike Out Cancer Weekend
Throughout the weekend, Duke Softball will be raising awareness and funds to support the Duke Cancer Institute and Duke Children's Hospital, with donations supporting families, patients and research. The team will spotlight Leukemia during Saturday's game. On Sunday, Duke Softball will spotlight Pediatric cancer and recognize the work of Team IMPACT, a non-profit organization that partners children facing serious illness and disability with college sports teams to create a long-term, life-changing experience for everyone involved.

Youth Day
Kids in attendance will receive limited edition #Team7 Duke Softball trading cards, while supplies last. Youth will be invited to join the team on the field for introductions, one will be selected to be a guest PA announcer and more. To be a part of youth day festivities, email marketing@duke.edu.

Be a Guest PA Announcer
Want to be a guest PA Announcer at a Duke Softball game this season? Complete the interest form for your chance to announce the batters for a half inning during a game at Duke Softball Stadium. Kids must be in the 6th grade or younger.
 
Be a Bat Kid
Want to be a bat kid at a Duke Softball game this season? Complete the interest form for your chance to be a bat kid during a game at Duke Softball Stadium. Kids must be in the 6th grade or younger and able to remain in the dugout throughout the entirety of the game without direct parental supervision.
