Healthcare providers are crucial to helping us reach more children and families in need of the support that Team IMPACT provides. Tell your entire healthcare team about the amazing experience that your child has had through Team IMPACT.

POST A FLYER
Ask if you can hang a flyer in the waiting room or on the community bulletin board in the family resource room or inpatient lounge.

Share with Your Disease Community

No one understands what your family experiences better than your disease community. Share information with them so their children can experience the therapeutic outcomes of our program.

 

POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Share a Team IMPACT graphic on your personal page and/or in appropriate Facebook groups.

Talk about Team IMPACT during an upcoming parent group or networking event.

Connect with Your Patient Advocacy Organization

Your Patient Advocacy Organization wants nothing more than to see your child thrive. Send them an email about your experience, and encourage them to recommend the program to other patients.

 

SAMPLE EMAIL LANGUAGE:

I wanted to reach out to tell you about a wonderful program our family takes part in called Team IMPACT. They are a national nonprofit connecting children living with chronic illness or serious medical conditions with college athletic teams.

Share some of your story – the team you’re matched with, how your child has benefited from participating, etc.
