Through the power of team, kids and student athletes accept, motivate, and inspire one another.
Our vision is to create a world where every child facing serious illness and disability feels supported by something bigger and every team is transformed by a greater purpose. When we’re all in together, we all win together.
For student-athletes, there are a number of pressures within and outside of their sport. Day to day can be difficult as they manage the wins and losses on the court, as well as in life. Team IMPACT provides these driven young adults with a new perspective by matching the team with one child for two years. The friendships forged become more than a few special moments; they tend to last a lifetime, and the student-athletes take away far beyond what is expected.
Over 80,000 student-athletes having participated in Team IMPACT over its 13-year history. Their dedication to treating children in the program as true teammates creates relationships that help build resilience and empathy for kids and student-athletes alike.
“I definitely recommend Team IMPACT for any team or sport around the country because we’re fighting battles on the court and Wyatt’s fighting a different type of battle off the court…if Wyatt can be as strong as he is and fight…he be someone I can look up to in a lot of ways.”
“Team Impact is a two-way relationship where joy is given and received on both the team and match’s side. Sports are my life and one of my favorite parts of life, but sports do not rule my life. Team Impact helps remind me of this truth.”
