Carolyn joined Team IMPACT in October 2015, and currently serves on the Development team as a Senior Officer, with a focus in Donor Relations and Events. Murphy began as a Relationship Manager where she made and managed Team IMPACT relationships between participating families and teams in addition to cultivating the medical and athletic communities in the greater New York area. Murphy was Team IMPACT’s first On-Campus Ambassador as a part of the OCA program while a graduate student at Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to Team IMPACT, Murphy was a marketing intern for the Kraft Sports Group.

Murphy grew up in Deerfield, NH and currently lives in the South End. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she earned her BS in Nutrition and Wellness before going on to receive her MS in Sport Management. An avid runner, Murphy ran her first marathon in 2016; the NYC Marathon, and in 2018 she completed the Boston Marathon, both for Team IMPACT; in total raising over $22,000!

When asked the question, “Why Team IMPACT?” Carolyn said:
When I was an On Campus Ambassador, I assisted a professor with qualitative research about the program’s impact on student-athletes. Through focus groups and surveys I got to see firsthand just how powerful and life-changing Team IMPACT was for these college athletes. After my experiences as an OCA I always found myself describing my dream job as ‘something like Team IMPACT’ so when a position opened up, I jumped at the opportunity to interview and have been here ever since!
