Joele joined Team IMPACT in March 2018 and currently serves as the Case Manager for the South and Southeast regions. In this role, Zeger plays an integral role in the maintenance of the Team IMPACT program, including: managing Team IMPACT relationships between participating families and teams, measuring and evaluating target populations’ progress towards their milestones and outcomes, as well as helping cultivate and develop the medical and athletic networks within their region.
Prior to Team IMPACT, Zeger worked as Children’s Therapist specializing in post-adoption counseling. She has also worked at a Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliate, matching children in need to mentors. Zeger grew up on Cape Cod, MA and earned her MSW from Boston University after completing her undergraduate degree in Developmental Psychology from Rollins College. In her spare time, Joele enjoys boating and cooking.
When asked the question, “Why Team IMPACT?” Joele said:
I get to help make a difference by further empowering courageous kids and student athletes. I love being a part of this team and learning something new every day.
