BIO:
Laura joined Team IMPACT in November of 2021 and currently serves as the Case Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. She plays an integral role in fostering relationships and communication between participating families and athletic teams to facilitate transformative experiences and outcomes both on and off the field. Laura came to Team IMPACT with 9 years of experience as an Advanced Child Life Specialist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her time there was spent supporting patients and families in both the Emergency Department and in the Department of Radiology and Sedation. Laura is a Philly native and takes pride in her Eagles fanhood. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places, being outside and spending time with family and friends.

When asked the question, “Why Team IMPACT?” Laura said:
Team IMPACT is the perfect blend of my two biggest passions – kids and sports. Often times I’ve learned that children are the piece of any equation that help teach the rest of us what’s most important in life. The psychosocial needs of children with chronic illnesses extend far beyond the four walls of a hospital and for me, being part of this organization and mission is a dream come true. The relationships that are created between these kids and student-athletes I know will have a lasting impact and being able to watch it happen is truly a humbling experience.
