BIO:
Shikha Shah joined Team IMPACT in March of 2021 and currently serves as the Regional Director of Programs for the West Coast region. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist and plays an integral role in all facets of the Team IMPACT program. As Regional Director, Shikha is active in establishing relationships between participating families and athletic teams in the matching process, while cultivating the medical and athletic networks within the region.

Prior to Team IMPACT, Shikha managed the Impact and Development of programs for Starlight Children’s Foundation, working directly with CCLS’s like herself at over 800 hospitals. She also serves as the Medical Advisor on the Board for A Moment of Magic Foundation, helping establish goals and criteria for college-age students to volunteer at children’s hospitals and schools dressed as some of the world’s most popular princesses!

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, weekly sunset beach walks and exploring the growing LA food scene. Although Shikha has traded in her east coast life for sunny side Los Angeles, she occasionally misses that east coast crispness & snow!

When asked the question, “Why Team IMPACT?” Shikha said:  Being exposed to the world of pediatrics brought insight into what the power of sport can do for a child. It plays a fundamental role in strength, teamwork and courage – all things these kids embody! Being a part of an organization that combines these two worlds that I love is extraordinary. I am so excited to support both the families and athletes while being a champion from the sidelines for all of their achievements!
