News from the West

Brandon & USC Baseball

"We were 9 and 1 when Brandon was in our dugout, so in this results-oriented world, we got wins—but we got way more than wins. We found our team. Brandon, he helped us find a team, and he's a part of that. He did way more for us than we did for him."

Danielle & Oregon Volleyball

Last January, Vara joined her Michigan dance teammates for football's national championship game.

Nathan & PLNU Baseball

Every baseball player grows up dreaming of playing in the World Series. For the members of the Point Loma Nazarene baseball team, that dream came true this spring when they got to play in the NCAA Division II College Baseball World Series.

Regional Spotlight: Colorado Field Day

Earlier this year, Regis University Athletics hosted its second annual Team IMPACT Colorado Field Day, bringing together more than 75 Team IMPACT participants and student-athletes from Regis, CU Boulder, Colorado College, University of Northern Colorado, Denver University, Colorado School of Mines, and MSU Denver for a fun-filled afternoon to celebrate community and team. With a goal of recognizing Team IMPACT’s work in the state of Colorado, the Field Day honored 27 active and 86 all-time Team IMPACT matches across these campuses and raised awareness to get more kids in the game.

It is heartwarming to see matches and their families interacting with other Team IMPACT families, forming connections and sharing experiences. Field Day not only offers moments of joy and fun but also serves as a platform for fostering new friendships and support networks.”

Creating a Championship Life: Braxton and Arizona Football

“He has been at every game I can think of. The support from him and his family is unreal. The only we can thank him is by giving it back to them. That’s what we try to do. I say we’re 120 big brothers to him. That’s part of the program, giving him guys to look up to.”
