A collaboration between Team IMPACT and Children’s Hospital Association aims to change the pediatric health care experience by leveraging the power of teamwork, community, and compassion.
Through advocacy, awareness, and program referrals, we believe that we can create a positive change in the lives of all children living with serious illness or disability.
After struggling with autoimmune hepatitis for almost a year, Bolton was diagnosed with aplastic anemia and received intensive treatment at Riley Hospital for Children. From nurses and medical experts to child life specialists and teachers, his multi-disciplinary team ensured Bolton had the care and support he needed to thrive. As he underwent treatment, Bolton established an unbreakable bond with the Purdue – Fort Wayne men’s basketball team. Thanks to the care he received both inside and outside of the hospital and a successful bone marrow transplant, Bolton got to ring the bell!
Children Hospital Association recently featured a Team IMPACT match in the latest rendition of their Made Possible Campaign.
