Fellowship Program

About the Fellowship Program

At Team IMPACT, we believe in providing our student-athletes with the necessary skills to make an impact, not only in the lives of the children and families who participate in our program, but also on their college campuses and in their communities. Fellows are selected from a competitive application and interview process. Once selected, the Fellows participate in a new Fellow orientation and comprehensive three-day training.

Fellows represent Team IMPACT on their campuses and collaborate with the athletic department and greater campus community to raise awareness and increase program participation. In return, Team IMPACT provides opportunities for Fellows to build their skills in leadership, community engagement, public speaking, and professional / career development, preparing them to be leaders in the workforce and beyond.

Fellowship Impact

During the 2022-23 school year, Team IMPACT fellows made a tremendous effort in bringing more awareness to our program:

From awareness games and field days to Halloween Trunk or Treats and holiday parties, our Fellows were busy planning nearly 20 events on and off campus.

The events planned by Fellows help introduce the life-changing work our program does to new people. In 2022, 88,116 people learned about Team IMPACT from Fellow-organized events.

While not a core focus of the program, Fellows are given the opportunity to fundraise for the program. $5,784 dollars were raised by the group in 2022.

Fellows conducted 48 presentations about Team IMPACT to medical providers across the nation to help get more kids in the game.
